I have been experiencing trouble with communication with professionals in the Early Childhood Field. I have email several person and asked would they be able to communicate. I have yet to receive a respond. I will continue to try to make communications because I have never had communication with anyone outside the United Stated and it would be great to learn about other professionals in this field. It has been a challenge, I have been trying since Sunday to get a response and yet to receive one. I will have to do the alternative assignment to part one.
For part 2, the selection was easy, I chose the National Head Start Association, I have been working in early childhood for about 16 years and have a strong bond with head start and will continue to learn and grow from what I learn. I had no problem choosing a website for this assignment. I enjoy learning and working with four and five year old students and seeing how they develop in front of your eyes.
I look forward to reading everyone blogs.
Hi Debra,
ReplyDeleteI contacted my facebook group and asked if they knew anyone that I could connect with globally. I got a lot of good starting points that way. I too feel passionate about Head Start. There are so many children in our society today that got a "head start" because of their participation in the association. I am looking forward to getting to know you better while learning from your expereince and research.

Hi Debra,
ReplyDeleteI also work for Head Start, so that was an easy pick.I found that when you go to the orginizations go to where it says contact us.That's what I did and I have been able to get replys from them. Good luck to all of us.I am looking forward to folowing your blog.
I also decided to focus on the Head start organization. I have been in the field and have a strong passion for that age group. They do develop a great deal at that age, they start asking questions and etc. I also was having trouble establishing contact with individuals from another country, but we still have a little time to keep trying.
